Metamorphosis. That's a word from biology right? It describes the caterpillar's journey and development

into a butterfly.

It's also in the bible.
Romans 12:2 says;
"...be transformed (metamorphoo in the original greek) by the renewing of your minds."

The Creator of heaven and earth is showing us a beautiful picture of Life in His Beloved Son here.

We metamorpho from being
earth bound caterpillars to wind riding butterflies.

From being conformed to the mould of this world to being led by the Spirit.

But for that to happen, like the caterpillar we must be willing to enter our "cocoons".

As instict beckons that little thing into that dark and lonely
cocoon, so "Spirit instict" in us draws us into the Secret Place of the Most High.

We must live knowing that though outwardly we seem to be wasting away, we know that inwardly we are being renewed day by day!

A story is told about a little boy who took pity seeing a partially developed butterfly struggle to come out of it's cocoon. With a pair of scissors he cut it loose from it's sticky predicament.

It died shortly afterwards, it's wings never fully developed, for
it is in that struggle that needed hormones for the development
of it's wings are released.

Are you in some sort of "cocoon" right now?
The "cocoon" stage may mean different things to all of us.

Remember your destiny... you are not meant to
crawl and conform to this earth... you are a citizen of heaven, you are meant to live a Spirit led life!

Let us leave the old behind and live in love and obedience to our Lord.
